Here are my pics from Christmas. The first set is from Lena's Christmas party at school. Then our Christmas at home, then Christmas in Indiana. Christmas was kind of dysfunctional this year. Lena was sick, and we were going to delay our trip back home a couple of days, but then found out the weather was going to be horrible then, so we drove down anyway. Hilary and Noah were sick, so you will notice there aren't too many pics taken at Hilary's house. Then I got sick the day before going back home to Michigan. I can't say it was the best Christmas ever, but it was still fun.
Enjoying some reindeer cupcakes.
Coloring a fun Christmas picture.
Playing "Pin the Nose on the Reindeer".
Where's she going to put it?
Ha ha!
The final results: Landry wins by a nose!
They had more fun putting the noses on their faces.
Then it was song and dance time.
Check out Mrs. Rop's cute reindeer hair!
This year's Christmas tree.
I love seeing all the pretty presents under the tree.
My girls on Christmas Eve.
Enough pictures; we're ready to open presents!
My Little Pony twin sheets. For their bunk beds!
Some new clothes for Eva.
A BeardHead for Jim.
Soft fleece blankets.
A horsey purse for Lena.
And finally, comforters.
Jim wearing and holding all of his presents.
The girls all dressed up for Christmas Eve service at church.
It's one of their favorite services because they get to ring their bells at the end.
I love this pic. So funny that Eva's eyes are closed.
Pastor Beard Head.
Lena recreating Jim's picture above.
Made it to Indiana on Christmas Day. First up was Christmas at Grandpa Brian's.
Pretty dress.
Watching Grandpa open his gifts.
This wig came with the Madagascar movie Aunt Amy got them.
Are you going to eat that, Grandpa?
We couldn't get Grandpa to try the wig on.
Christmas at Hilary's. Scott and Noah opening presents.
Grandpa Lee got a neat digital photo frame.
Eva got a baby and put her in Kara's bouncy seat.
Noah liked the book we got him, "Good Night, Good Night, Construction Site."
Kara helping her daddy open his gifts.
Christmas at Grammy Tammy's. Drowning in presents!
That's a lot of presents!
Making a snow angel in the wrapping paper.
Unveiling the big one. It was a new play kitchen.
Guess what? The bathtub crayons work on faces too!
Singing Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Grammy and the girls.
Great-Grandma Zink had gifts for the girls too.
Ooh, nail polish.
Fun!
Before leaving Indiana, we took Mom on a horse-drawn carriage ride through the Christmas lights in Franke Park. It was part of her birthday present, but we weren't able to do it earlier in the month.
Afterwards, the kids got to pet the horses.
Lena loved it, of course.
Pretty neat-looking carriage!
