Last weekend Jim's sister, Amy, got married. We spent the week in Indiana getting ready for it, as Jim was officiating at the wedding. Here are some pics from the rehearsal, the wedding, and the reception.
Eva all dolled up for the rehearsal. Note the barrette in her hair!
Lena entertaining Eva before we left for the church.
"Look Mama! Eva kick me!"
Showing off her pretty dress. (It matched the wedding colors.)
Checking out the altar. Amy got married at Zion Lutheran Church in Woodburn, the same church Jim and I were married at.
Lena with Grandpa Brian.
Jim's cousin Lindsay and her husband Brian holding Eva.
Jim presiding over the rehearsal.
Lena trying to stand still. In the end we decided that she would not be able to stand still throughout the service, so I sat in the front pew with her.
Her pretty hairdo on wedding day.
Lena and Aunt Amy.
Eva meets her Great-Grandparents Zink.
Lena and me before the service. I can't remember who took this picture, but I am jealous that they got a real smile out of Lena!
Getting formal pictures taken. It should be interesting to see how they turned out! (Lena was a little less than cooperative!)
Lena and her walking partner, Dominic. He is the son of Jim's cousin, Danielle.
Getting a drink from Grandpa Brian.
Trying to get a pic of Jim and Amy--Brian being a buttinksi.
This is the shot I wanted!
Mother and Daughter.
Lena and the other flower girl sharing toys before the service.
Here are a couple of videos Uncle Scott took of Lena walking up and then back down the aisle during the ceremony.
She did a really good job! I wasn't sure she would go where she was supposed to or drop any flower petals at all, but she did really well. She looked so precious doing it too!
After the service. Hilary and I with our Junebugs.
Hilary and Noah outside the reception hall.
Eva and me outside the reception hall.
Lena and Aunt Hil had lots of fun dancing.
Jim took Eva around to meet people.
Here she is being entertained by Grandma Sheryl.
Aunt Hil and Eva.
Me and Noah.
Lena and Uncle Scott.
Dancing with Lena. She had so much fun.
Crazy girls!
Grandma Sheryl dancing.
Lena loving the attention from her aunts.
Congratulations to Amy and her new husband, Frank Carroll. We are so happy to have Frank as part of our family and an uncle to our daughters.
