This is our baby! A little explanantion: the large circle you see at the top is not Baby's head, that's the gestational sac that delivers nutrients to the baby until the placenta forms. Just below that is our baby. We got to see it's tiny heart beating away like crazy! It was awesome. And the measurements line up exactly with the due date we had been going by--March 5, 2008. So everything is right on track. What a wonderful experience, seeing your baby's heart beat for the first time. We have been so blessed. Thanks to everyone for keeping us and Baby in your prayers.

Our One Flesh
"'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."
-Matthew 19:5b-6
God made us, male and female, for more than sex or mutual edification. He made us to glorify Him by becoming one. It is a great joy for us to be blessed with this unique and blessed unity that God gives especially within the context of holy matrimony. May He, in His loving-kindness, complete the work of knitting our child together, that we may bring the baby to the blessed and renewing waters for new life and regeneration in the death and resurrection of Christ!
