Weekend in Wisconsin

Last Friday we spent the day in the Chicago area.  Instead of driving all the way home when we were done (at 6:30 CT that evening), our friends the Chrysts invited us to spend the rest of the weekend with them (they're about 2 hours north of Chicago).  I didn't take very many pictures, but here are a few.

On Saturday all of us girls went to the park while Jim and Tom drove to Milwaukee to go to a store that was closed.

 Eva loves to swing.

On the way back from the bathroom, Lena and I found a huge caterpillar.

Most definitely the biggest caterpillar I've ever seen.

 He was a giant!

The Chryst girls decided to take him home to see what he will turn into.  We think it's a tomato hornworm, in which case it will turn into a hawk moth.

Saturday evening after dinner and baths, Lena, Helena, and Morgan cuddled up on the couch and watched tv while Bailey went for a bike ride.

After passing by the Mars Cheese Castle at least a dozen times in the last few years, we finally decided to stop on our way home after church on Sunday.

They recently opened this brand-new building.  The old one is going to be torn down because I-94 is being widened along this stretch.  We were surprised to find the place absolutely packed.  We didn't buy anything because we had trouble even walking around the place, it was so packed.  Hopefully next time it won't be so busy and we can bring home some yummy cheese from our trip.
