Christmas

Here are my Christmas pics.

Lena all dolled up for Christmas Eve service.

Eva in her Christmas dress.

Jim and the girls after the Christmas Eve service at church.

Lena all excited to open gifts.

She got a SpongeBob tin that has a different facial expression on each side. We got her to make the same faces.

She's pretty good at winking.

Toothy grin.

The day after Christmas we went to Indiana to celebrate with our families. Sunday night we had Christmas at Aunt Amy's house with her, Uncle Frank, Grammy Tammy, Roger, and the Great-Grandparents Zink.

Amy and Eva. Eva looks like she's fussing, but I think she was yawning.

Grammy Tammy got Eva a Build-A-Bear horse that was wearing a dress almost identical to the one Eva was wearing that night. Weird!

We stayed at Hilary's house while we were there.

Eva and Daddy taking a nap after a long shift at Target.

Baby pow-wow.

We had Christmas with Grandpa Lee, Grandma Sheryl, Aunt Hil, Uncle Scott, and Noah on Tuesday night at Hilary's.

Lena got the froggy Pillow Pet.

She loves it.

Me and Noah.

Lena getting read to by Grandma this time. She really added to her Dr. Seuss collection this Christmas!

Eva and Aunt Hil.

Babies' first Christmas. Noah is chewing on a gift box and Eva is chewing on a bow.

Happy babies!

They're both working on crawling.

Wednesday evening we had Christmas at Grandpa Brian's house.

Daddy helped Eva open her gifts.

And Lena helped Grandpa open his.

All the clothes the girls got for Christmas. Holy cow! They are going to be stylin' in 2011!

Christmas Eve

I thought I would get some pictures of the kids and the tree before a bunch of gifts get opened tonight.

It looks like we spent a fortune on gifts, but we didn't! I like wrapping presents, so I often buy more smaller gifts than one large gift. I think they all look so pretty under the tree!

This one is kind of blurry, but I had to post it because I just love the look on Eva's face! She is the happiest baby I've ever known.

Sweet sisters.

Presents are a good motivator for learning how to crawl!

"How do you open this thing?"

Posing for me.

Christmas Card Photo

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! I wanted to share a few photos I took a couple of weeks ago for our Christmas card. I got the girls all dolled up and sat them in front of the Christmas tree. I took 15 pictures in order to get one good one. When I told Mom that, she said that she would love to see the rest of them. So here they are.

The "good one".

And here are the rest, in chronological order.

My girls are so goofy!

Today is a fun day around here. We have a service at 5:15, then home for dinner and opening presents! I can't wait to watch Lena open presents this year. She has already told me that she is so "sited!" Then we have another service at 11 which Lena loves because she gets to ring her jingle bells.

Our Christmas Day service is at 9:30 tomorrow then I am making a holiday roast and we are going enjoy the rest of the day together at home. Then after church on Sunday we are leaving for Indiana where we will spend a few days celebrating Christmas with our family there. Really looking forward to all the festivities this year, with it being Eva's first Christmas, and with Lena getting old enough to really appreciate it all.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas!
