Connie and Chuck Visit

We had some very special visitors this month.  My Aunt Connie and Uncle Chuck came to visit from Washington, Iowa.  We hadn't seen them since September 2010 when we all met up in Indiana.  Eva was only three months old.  Scott, Hilary, Noah, Kara, and Mom came up from Indiana to see them too.

We didn't do anything too exciting when they were here.  Connie and Chuck took the four of us out to eat the first night they were here, but mostly we just hung out at home and talked.  We had a lot to catch up on!

Of course, we had to get some Kringle because no first-time trip to Kenosha/Racine is compete without it.  We noticed after some had been eaten that the Kringles spelled out two "C"s.  So here are the other two "C"s with them.

Hilary and I exchanged Sister's Day gifts.

It was a special weekend for the girls for another reason as well: Grandpa Brian bought the girls bikes when we were there in June, but we didn't have enough room in our car to bring them home.  Grandma Sheryl graciously offered to bring them up here when she came.  The girls were so excited to have their bikes here.  The church parking lot is a great place for them to ride.  Noah rode their tricycle.

It was a beautiful day for riding bikes.

 Oh geez!

Noah loved playing with the trucks, of course.

After all that activity, it was time to veg on the couch and watch a movie while Mom, Hil, Connie, and I played games in the dining room.

The kiddos all dolled up for church on Sunday.  Noah wasn't too keen on having his pic taken at first.

Connie and Chuck celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary earlier this year.

 Noah's happier now!

 What a great pic!

 Sisters.

Thanks so much for visiting, Connie and Chuck!  Come back and see us anytime!
