March 2 is Dr. Seuss Day. We think it's a fun day to celebrate. Here are a few pics from this year's celebration.
The girls wearing their Dr. Seuss shirts.
Silly girls!
Holding their Dr. Seuss characters. Eva has the Cat in the Hat and Lena has a Sneetch.
Of course, we had to have green eggs and ham for dinner. This is a bad picture, but the Green Eggs and Ham Omelets I made were really good and the girls loved them.
I got up the next morning to find this: the Cat and the Sneetch were apparently having Pillow Pet races overnight! I love how they are color coordinated!
We also watched a Dr. Seuss movie, "Horton Hears A Who", colored some coloring pages, and read lots of books, of course. It was a fun day.
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
