11th Anniversary and the Kite Festival

Our anniversary fell on a Saturday this year.  We didn't have any big plans for celebrating, but it was the weekend of the annual Outta Sight Kite Flight Festival here in Kenosha, so we decided to spend the day there.

 It was a beautiful day.

But it turned out that it wasn't ideal for the kite festival.  There wasn't enough wind.  Who would have thought?

We had fun watching people try to get their kites up in the air, though!

 Selfie with Eva.

 Selfie with Lena.

The girls found a leaf with nipples on it.

 We enjoyed some shaved ice.

 My Hawaiian princess.

We had lunch at the Boathouse.  We wanted to eat outside, but the patio was already packed.  Does this pic remind you of anything, Hil?

A little collage I put together in honor of our anniversary:
