On Thursday evening, our friends the Krenzes, had us over for dinner. It was a warm day and they have a nice pool (much bigger than ours), so we let the girls play in the water for a while before dinner was ready.
This was about as close to "playing together" as they got. Their personalities are such opposites, that Maddie ends up standing off to the side, quietly watching as Lena sits, kicks, splashes, plays, yells, and laughs hysterically. It's amazing how different they are!

Sarah broke out the bubbles, but it was a bit too windy. They all blew away before the girls even saw them.
Lena doesn't understand the meaning of "personal space"! Sarah is expecting their second child this fall.

We had a nice evening with the Krenzes. After dinner we went to The Big Dipper (Hilary's having flashbacks now!) and got some ice cream. Thanks, Jon and Sarah, for having us over!
