Date Night #1: Mitteer Wedding

Jim and I had a date night on the 13th. The daughter of some of our members got married at a church in Grand Rapids, and although Lena was invited, we decided to have someone stay with her at home and make a date of it. Grammy Tammy came up and watched Lena for us.

Before the wedding we got lunch at Olive Garden using a gift card that Hilary and Scott got us for our anniversary. (Thanks Hil and Scott!) Olive Garden is one of our favorite restaurants.

The bride and groom cutting the cake. All of my pics at the reception are dark and grainy. My camera does not do well in low light situations. The cake was so pretty I didn't realize it was a real cake until they started cutting into it!

Our church organist Eric played the organ at the wedding.

Even Cheryl got in on the dancing action!

We really enjoyed ourselves at the reception. It was a great date night. And Grammy Tammy and Lena had lots of fun too. Tammy spent the night and went to church with us the next morning.

It was a beautiful day.

Thanks so much, Tammy, for watching Lena for us. It was nice for us to get out and have some fun sans baby!
