Jim's Fifth Ordination Anniversary

June 3rd, in addition to being Eva's second birthday, was also Jim's fifth ordination anniversary.  Our congregation completely surprised us by not only remembering the occasion, but also by having a lovely reception for us after the service that day.  They also provided a very generous monetary gift!  We could not have been more surprised and pleased by this!  Here are a few pics.

 The pretty hydrangeas we got for altar flowers in honor of Jim's fifth ordination anniversary, Eva's second birthday, and our ninth wedding anniversary.  What a week!

 The small cake had a plaque that read something like "Rev. James Roemke, Fifth Ordination Anniversary, June 3, 2012".

 Spelled wrong, but a very sweet sentiment!
