We were on Antiques Roadshow!

So, I think I mentioned that the Grand Rapids episodes of Antiques Roadshow were airing recently.  We had been watching intently to see if we could spot ourselves in the background.  There were on-air appraisals going on behind us several times as we waited in line for our own appraisals, so we knew there was a possibility of being caught in the background of one these shots.  We didn't see anything on the first two shows.  We forgot to watch the third show when it aired last night, but had it DVR'ed.  We watched it tonight when we got home and, success!  Jim (and a little bit of me) can be seen in the background a couple of times during one appraisal.  Neat!  The show will re-air on Saturday at 8 pm (Eastern).  So set up your DVRs or VCRs!

Here are the details on what to look for:

• It's about at the halfway mark of the show.
• The on-air appraisal is of a bracelet with a letter.  It's a male appraiser and a female owner.
• Jim will be seen behind the appraiser on the right side of the screen.
• Neither of our heads show.  
• Jim was wearing a polo shirt with dark brown, light brown, and blue stripes.
• You can see he is carrying a large crucifix.
• I was wearing bright green and can be seen only briefly behind Jim.

Not exactly a claim to fame, but pretty neat to see yourself on national television!  I got so excited when we saw it for the first time tonight that I screamed and scared Lena to the point of tears!  (In my defense, she was really tired!)
